Q: What am I entitled to in terms of paid leave in the event that a family member dies?

A: All full-time and part-time employees are granted up to three days of paid leave for a death in their immediate family. Immediate family means a spouse, parent, grandparent, child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, sister, or member of the household of the employee.
